__HackerYou, a Toronto-based provider of hands-on, project-based technology skills training announced that it has been approved by the Ministry of Advanced Education & Skills Development to operate as a registered Private Career College in the province of Ontario. __The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce strongly recommends that the mandate, practices and resources of the Copyright Board of Canada be the subject of in-depth study during the forthcoming statutory review of the Copyright Act by a committee of the Senate or of the House of Commons or of both.

__”The Copyright Board of Canada plays a pivotal role in Canada’s cultural sector. Yet, from what the committee heard [via multiple Witnesses, including Access Copyright], the Board is dated, dysfunctional and in dire need of reform. Whether the reasons are statutory, structural or otherwise, the Board did not –or could not –provide the committee with solutions to the problems that were identified by witnesses. The concerns outlined in this report require further investigation and timely action. The next statutory review of the Copyright Act will take place in 2017″

__This article underscores the dramatic changes we will see as many on-campus stores redefine themselves due to the shifting buying pattern towards online transactions for physical & digital educational resources _ Bowling Green State University’s student bookstore no longer carries physical books. The store has been renamed Falcon Outfitters and features a number of apparel and other banded items. _ http //https://lnkd.in/exyC_7s _ One can even ‘Buy This Image’ and have it framed . . . ? _
